What's included
- Low voltage cabling design and installation
- Network racks, cable management and labeling
- Security camera systems
- Cloud-managed door access
- Conference room and display AV
- As-built documentation
How it's secured
- Cameras, door controllers and AV on isolated networks
- Default credentials replaced before go-live
- Device firmware maintained
- Access logs and video retention that support physical security requirements, such as CMMC Physical Protection and HIPAA facility access controls
- Documentation of every drop, device and port
The physical layer is where security starts.
Every network depends on the cable in the wall, and every camera, badge reader and conference room display is a computer on that network. When they're installed by a separate vendor and left on default settings, they become the easiest way in.
Our technicians install the cabling, cameras, door access and AV themselves, then connect each system to its own isolated network segment. Default passwords are replaced before go-live, firmware is kept current, and every drop and device is labeled and documented.
Bringing us in early on a buildout or move means the cabling, network, phones and security systems are designed together, which avoids rework and change orders later.

How this maps to compliance
Our standard supports these requirements. Your assessment scope, policies and evidence determine whether a requirement is met.
| Requirement area | What our standard puts in place |
|---|---|
| Physical Protection (NIST SP 800-171) | Door access control with audit logs, camera coverage of sensitive areas, visitor management support |
| HIPAA Security Rule: facility access controls | Badge access, access logs and video retention for areas with patient data |
| System and Communications Protection | Cameras, controllers and AV isolated on their own network segments |
Common questions
Do you install cabling in new construction and existing buildings?
Yes. We work with general contractors on new buildouts and retrofit existing offices, including racks, labeling and documentation.
Can we view cameras from our phones?
Yes. Camera systems can be viewed remotely through secure apps, without exposing the cameras directly to the internet.
Why put cameras and door access on a separate network?
Cameras and controllers are common targets because they often run outdated firmware. Isolating them keeps a compromised device from reaching your business systems.
Do these systems help with compliance?
They can. CMMC includes Physical Protection requirements and HIPAA requires facility access controls. Access logs and video retention help you show those controls are working.
The rest of the standard
Every service is secured the same way, so they work better together.
Planning a buildout or a move?
Bring us in early and we'll design cabling, cameras, access and AV alongside the network.
